Elder 03:53
Roller rink, fifty years ago. Your hand in mine, waiting to go home. Consequential decisions were made, a baby in the womb and bills to be paid. In over our heads, reckless and young, we blamed it on the whiskey and the self-less love. The child we raised grew to be tall, a strapping young man, figure was strong. Raised in a home in shambles due to bitter grandparents, accusations were/are stammered. The distance now is unbearable, the love we once shared benumbed to the core. You've lost your mind and I am growing old. I had no choice but to take you to a home. Although you can't seem to remember who I am, your eyes filled with tears as I dropped your hand. I left a coward dismayed with pain, you died a widow who'd/who's forgotten her name.

Newborn 02:04
Rolling over, I can't feel a thing. Tremors inside of me, shifts are occurring. Losing sight of what once was, a now distant reality. Given circumstance, efforts to recreate, should stand still. Realization has set in and I am gasping for breath. Reborn premature, utter confusion. Lack of movement, and I am standing still.
3.
Coward 01:37
No hope due to solitude, fear ensues, low aptitude. Constant regression, threatens my lifestyle. Grow up you coward, you fucking coward. An inclination to progress, an infestation of distress. Blank mind, crude thoughts once more. Solace is forever ignored. Grow up you coward, you fucking coward.
4.
Teacup 02:25
Feelings that are lingering. Sadness overcomes, can't say a thing. Stuck at the bottom of this well. Screaming out your name for help. Please won't you fill up my cup. Two more sips and then I am done. All of my troubles are out on the table. Take them in and bear if able. If you can't, that's alright. Just fill my cup up, one more time. Please won't you fill up my cup. Two more sips and then I am done.
5.
Cornfields 01:49
Dusk falls upon symmetric rows. Age difference substantial yet thoughts are shared. Armed and fearful of what is to come. Barriers are broken. Perception is no longer impaired. Sustenance has been found in cornfields. The constant hunger for comfort fulfilled.
